Off of 620 in Four Points Austin Texas, lies one of the iconic Nashville Hot Chicken Restaurants you can find in Austin and maybe the entire state of Texas. Bussin Buns currently has 5 food trucks across the Austin Area serving Nashville Hot chicken.
The workers and staff are friendly, helping you with any questions you may have. They give great recommendations on what to eat. They make sure to give extra napkins as you are sure to get messy trying to eat.

Bussin Buns offer a variety of levels of spiciness ranging from mild to extreme and customizable meals. As someone who struggles with spice, I found the mild option to be perfect. Their favorites include the Double Bun, Single Bun, and the Bussin Mac. Both the Double and Single Buns are sandwiches filled with coleslaw, pickles, Bussin sauce, and served with a side of fries. The flavor of the food was amazing, and everything was incredibly satisfying. The coleslaw provides a refreshing crunch, doubling on the flavorful Bussin sauce and crispy chicken. As someone who dislikes pickles, surprisingly, the acidity was refreshing, cutting through the dense flavors. The mac and cheese were creamy and featured their signature Bussin flavors. The mac and cheese pairs perfectly with the chicken and is absolutely delicious. Definitely, worth a try! Additionally, the portions are generous so no need to worry coming home with an empty stomach!
Drinks wise, there wasn’t a great selection, but they do have Jarritos, which is a very good fizzy drink known for its vibrant flavors and refreshing qualities.
Overall Takeaway:
- Staff: Very Kind
